[NM] OT: Anybody working with musical Linux applications? need opinions

On the other hand, with Ubuntu that's just a matter of a couple of clicks. ;)

But yeah. I would like the manufacturer to support my OS, and be able to run.
Ableton Live or equivalent. So I'm staying on XP as well, for the time
being. But nowadays I only prefer XP for watching movies, making music
and playing games, and that is all *only* because lacking software.
Otherwise I now like Linux (or rather Ubuntu) better than XP.
