Emagic never consolidated all their port information in one place, and
sometimes they don't coordinate. Also, doublings occasionally happened
which produces symptoms similar to what you describe.
Close all emagic applications.
In win.ini completely delete all entries for Logic, SoundDiver, Unitor
Control and any other application you might have for Emagic.
In system.ini delete all references to Midi Yoke, and also any
referencel to anything to do with any Emagic product. SHOULDN'T be any,
but we all know about shouldn't.
Do a cold reboot.
Start MidiYoke first and check its entries.
Then systematically start and then close your Emagic applications one at
a time. When each has been closed, check win.ini to make sure that all
MIDI ports were recognized. They should all match for every application.
If the autoscan misses a port, it's much better to delete that
application's entire section in win.ini and then restart that application.
I've had to do that a couple of times.
