I found this in James Clark book on advanced modular programming on the NM
(with lots of contributions from this very list).
It's the formula for Vector Synthesis
(http://www.cim.mcgill.ca/~clark/nordmodularbook/nm_oscillator.html#vector)
I just wondered: why isn't it possible to just use the crossfaders? (take 4
Oscs, crossfade between Osc 1/2 and Osc 3/4, control both crossfaders with 1
morph: the X-Axis. Crossfade the output of the the X-Axis-crossfaders: the
Y-Axis).
I suppose my approach is to simple, but why?
Cheers,
sebber
