[NM] NM1 - remarkable patches

Hello everybody,

because of the different patch formats the NM and the G2 community will
never really melt together . So a lot of the NM wisdom is sort of an
Atlantis for G2 users like me, but unlike Atlantis sometimes artefacts come
to the surface and stun the high-tech G2-owner of today. Sometimes these
treasures make it on the new platform like Kees' talking patches. But others
still live only in the collective memory of this very list (and the memory
of some NMs) and this is an effort to dig that gold. I've seen/heard of
patches that emulate a wind-up clockwerk, a real clock showing the real time
etc. and I'd like to ask the list:

What do you think are the most remarkable patches for the NM?

I'm not talking about "my favourite pad" or "this one made my mom freak out"
but the most remarkable concepts and ideas that an adventerous and creative
community was able to generate when the first VA modular hit earth.
